Likes: I really like the fact that you can create a subtle, daytime look and then build on that for a more bold night time look. With my hooded lids, the smokey eye was a really great look. The cakes are tightly packed, so product wasn’t flying everywhere, and they have awesome pigmentation.

Dislikes: The instructions to create the look were confusing. First, the diagram of the palette did not show the colors in the same order that they were placed in the packaging so I had to guess at the color names. Second, the directions told me what type of Studio Gear products and brushes to use it with, but if I’m trying this out as my first Studio Gear product I’m obviously not going to have all of those other products on hand. That was confusing.

Would I Purchase? I would probably purchase a few of the colors on their own. I really liked the Frost and the Coal colors, but I’m not a huge fan of such a pink blush.
